Looks like a bunch of baws who are ready to get rid of their 56-8 coach so they can move along to greener pastures. Let’s see how that works out for them

Won't be apples to apples since they're moving to SEC, but at least they'll have a shot at a coach who cares about defense.

They sound like LSU fans when Saban left for Miami, tired of the flirting every year with another job.

It's actually deeper than that. OUflak is trying to speak to it.

You know what 75% (it feels like) of the fanbase calls the current program? Soft.

You guys, no offense, don't know the OU program like OU fans, obviously. Just like I won't pretend to know LSU's program more than LSU fans.

I said it the other day, my true feelings are that I don't really care if he leaves. It'll look awful from an optics standpoint. "LSU stole OU's coach". Stuff like that. It'll be brutal.

In a weird way, it could be a win/win for both programs.

You guys are craving an offensive/QB mastermind, in part, because of what ya saw in 2019 (great team w/ Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, and that beast OL, etc). Apparently, so much so that your AD is going to overspend on the idea. Copying his Jimbo blueprint.

OU fans are wanting a coach who will instill toughness and grit (like Bob's first few years). For OU, that'll never be Lincoln Riley. It's just not who he is. He's like a parent who'd rather be friendly with their kids instead of dishing out needed discipline.

People who don't know football will blame OU's issues on everyone/everything but Lincoln. It all falls at his feet.

This year's team should have been the team to win a playoff game, in a weaker than normal national landscape. Instead, it's been a myriad of problems and OU finds itself as an underdog to a much less talented Oklahoma State team. It's not a talent issue like LSU/SEC fans will say or think. It just isn't. If OU were in the playoffs vs UGA/tOSU/Bama, sure, OU would be less talented.

The defense gets a lot of the blame. OU fans are stupid enough to blame Grinch. The defense has had a lot of injuries, that aside, it was built to compliment an explosive offense. The DL was built to attack the QB and to get turnovers. It works well when the offense is humming. When the offense is broken, like it has been, the defense is being asked to do things they're not supposed to, if that makes sense. They spend too much time on the field. There's a reason OU went out and got a DC who coached with an Air Raid OC (Leach). Lincoln isn't keeping up his end of the bargain this season.

You guys saw the headlines/chants..."We Want Caleb". Spencer Rattler had his issues but the bulk of the offensive issues are at OL and at OC (Riley). Lincoln doesn't have a transfer QB who masks the offensive issues and he doesn't have an NFL talent-laden OL these days. It's no secret that the offense has taken a slide now that Lincoln has his own players/QBs.

I'll be laughed at and ridiculed and that's fine, I don't care about this board's opinion really. Easy to sign off for good.

I was told it wasn't going to happen (Lincoln to LSU), which is why I came here to sort of troll, but it looks like it might have changed. Oh well, good luck with that bros. It could work out better for him there. You guys think it will due to talent, I don't see it that way, but there's no reason to argue the unknown. We'll have to see what transpires.

If Lincoln leaves, South Carolina fans will have to sweat out Beamer.

A true Hotwife would be fully willing and happy to provide photos. And, I mean validated with signage and such. It’s their way.

If you want grit, you can do better than Beamer.

I just hope Oklahoma doesn’t get Aranda and flip the script making LSU regret the decision.

When Lincoln ends up at LSU and OU gets in SEC this game will definitely be an instant rivalry. You know the powers that be will make this a yearly matchup. Much watch TV. IMO

If I were an OU fan, sure I'd want to keep him but I wouldn't be bending over backwards to keep him, particularly if I had a guy in mind that could keep a firm hand on the wheel.

OU won 11 games the year before Riley took over, so he kept things steady. At a certain point it's not sustainable to get held up every other year for more money by your coach.

I'll rephrase; with no championships, it's not sustainable for your coach to hold up the program for more money every other year.
