Pete Mangurian was named the tight ends coach on Head Coach Bill Belichick's staff on March 7, 2005. He is entering his 16th year in the NFL and his 28th year as a coach, including a successful three-year stint as the head coach at Cornell University and a tenure as the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons in 2003.

In 1984, he began a four-season stint as the offensive line coach at his alma mater, Louisiana State, helping the Tigers earn four consecutive bowl bids and set school records for total offense on three separate occasions. LINK

Not a very big school but success:
Peter K. Mangurian, the head football coach at Cornell University for the past three seasons, has been named the new offensive line coach for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.

In his three years as Cornell's head coach, Mangurian compiled a 16-14 overall record. In the last two seasons, Cornell -- with a record of 10-4 -- has won more Ivy League contests than any other league team. This past season, the Big Red took second place in the league.

Mangurian became Cornell's 23nd head football coach in 1998. In addition to his NFL experience, Mangurian also has been the offensive line coach at Southern Methodist University, New Mexico State University, Stanford University and Louisiana State University (LSU).

Mangurian received his bachelor's degree in political science in 1978 from LSU, where he played defensive tackle on the school's football team.

He has a great resume and has worked with Belichick, much like a former successful LSU head coach. Any word if LSU will approach him or if he has sent out feelers if Miles does leave?

Actually I haven't seen anything at all about him but he certainly has a nice resume.

And he wasn't only a former LSU assistant with great success, he was a former LSU player. So I don't see why not.

Jeff Jagodzinski of BC was a grad asst at LSU under Archer.

and then there's Joe Cullen defensive line coach for the Detroit Lions and former LSU coach. His wiki profile says: Cullen was arrested in 2006 for driving under the influence. It was also alleged that he drove through a Wendy's drive through while nude.

He made fun of himself this Halloween about that incident. I thought it was funny.

I just want a win on Saturday and then for whatever is to happen regarding Miles to be done by early next week. I don't want to wait until Christmas night again.
