That's why he's leaving. Tired of coaching 2* defensive tackles converted to offensive linemen.

He seems like such a good dude. I've been a fan of his for a while as a person since I heard him on a podcast once. Follow him on twitter too. I honestly don't know how he is as a OL coach, but good hire as far as good people go.

Herb got dealt a poor, uh, hand at Penn State. As stated, there were D Linemen converted to fill spots, the high profile JUCO transfer underwhelmed, Donovan's scheme didn't work. There were a few folks that wanted Hand fired along with Donovan, 80% or more were on a wait and see. I thought this upcoming year would be enough of a body of work to determine if he should stay.
All that said, the man seems like a really good guy, and I hope he lights it up down there. Good luck, Tigers.
