Having to hire a coach who has had success at a power 4 school is unnecessary

In the top half of the SEC standings there’s only one, maybe two coaches who would have met the criteria that a lot of LSU fans are requiring.
-Kirby was an assistant.
-Venables was an assistant.
-Clark Lea was an assistant
-Elko had a couple of good, not great seasons at Duke.
-Dinkwitz only coached one year at App St
-Josh Heupel won at UCF in the AAC
-Deboer won at power 4 school
-Sark coached at power 4 schools but did not win
-Kiffin coached everywhere, but only won at FAU
-Kirby was an assistant.

I don’t care who we hire. As long as he is competent, loves his players and wants a physical football team I’m good. The rest will fall in line.
