Has there ever been more coaching changes at one time?

Unless there's a miracle for certain teams, it appears there will be at least 4 SEC coaches gone at the end of the year:
Arkansas
Auburn
Tennessee
Kentucky

I was trying to think if there's ever been more changes in a single year and couldn't come up with one.

That makes it tough when you're competing for a quality coach against guys in your conference.

And what's more is that there could even be more changes througout the nation. Im sure you have read the threads about Kiffin and the rumors of Mack Brown retiring which Im sure is not going to happen but could really have a lot of Big Time programs looking for coaches besides the 4 in the Sec that you mentioned. Will definitely be an interesting next few weeks with all the great games and possible coaching changes.

2005 had LSU, Florida, South Carolina, and Ole Miss. That's the only year that comes to mind.
