Yes, $700k (or the $400k estimate someone mentioned earlier in the thread) goes farther in Gainesville than Los Angeles, but with a $700k/year salary, an assistant can easily afford any neighborhood in LA, including Beverly Hills. Even at $400k/year, one could afford almost all neighborhoods, unless they have like 5 kids in private school.
