I haven't heard this radio conversation on here today. Did someone post it earlier? I'm a lazy sum bitch.

This is about the 10th thread I've seen with Gumps so happy that a governor says a coach isn't going. WTF does a governor have to do with it?

Gov. Manchin says he did not see the Rich Rodriguez hire coming even though his name was being thrown around as soon an Loyd Carr left. If the Gov. couldn't anticipate what was happening even after Rich Rod. flirted with Bama last year than he is not too connected to the situation. Also it shows that Gov. Manchin had no idea Coach Rod. was in total conflict with University officials over reasonable requests that Rod was asking for. I wouldn't put a lot of stock in what Manchin said. He seems clueless about the whole situation while things happen all around him. Even if Saban does not leave this year he will be at Bama tops another 4 years. If he doesn't win it all by 4 years Bama fans will run him out anyway.
