Thanks for the info, TigerInMICH. Most of the posters around were dropped on their heads as infants. That's why they are the way they are.

Okay, you guys win. The program will stay in good hands. You figured it out: Miles is staying, we will have the top recruiting class, and LSU will take the next five National Championships.
Now we all can get back to work and stop worrying.

A guy comes on here and attempts to share some intelligence, the source of which he identifies and which source has a better chance of providing good information than most of the nonsense that gets posted here, and you guys belittle the poster for trying to help. You deserve to have Ed Orgeron as Head Coach.

just got off the phone with tony the tiger at Kelloggs headquaters in Battle Creek, Mich. He told me that Saban was having tea with some of the Mich powerbrokers.

I just saw Elvis at the grocery store with Bo Schembechler and Bear Bryant.

how exactly are you related to miles?
cousin?
in-law?
friend of the family out to protect his image on the ruthless tigerdroppings boards?
or do you just rollerblade together?
either way, it's clear that you are tied to him some way..
.............Les, we're playing Tennessee in the Championshio game on Saturday. You need to get off the message boards and get focused on the SEC Championship. Remember, you are 0 for 1 on those, while you probably should be at least 2/2
I'm driving my arse all the way to Atlanta. You better get this team ready and at least wipe the drool off your face and pretend you're not thinking about Michigan. We are a hell of a lot more talented than the vols. I want a WIN

Saban was caddying for Spurrier at Country Club LA this monring. Looks like Saban as DC and Spurrier as HC.

...but seriously - Mile is gone to MI - Spurrier is coming to BR. You can mark that down.

I clean golf carts at CCLA and I was able to eavesdrop while they warmed up.
They were talking about houses that they were each looking at, and which school the kids were going to go to.
I also heard them talking about how much their wives love baton rouge!!!!

He's gone, gone, gone,
gone, gone, gone,
and cryin' won't bring him back.

Tiger511, how about a well-constructed argument explaining why he is unwilling to just say so? If he wants to hear what UM offers (or if he already has heard as I understand to be the case), then he is gone. If he does not want to hear what UM says because he plans to stay, what possible downside is there to just saying so, in very clear terms, so that potential recruits aren't scared away and game preparation is not affected? If he denied interest--and then UM either did not "offer" or he rejected a formal offer--he would be a God. And anyone who thinks it would hurt his "leverage" in negotiations with LSU is an idiot. He in fact would be rewarded handsomely for his loyalty.
Get your head out of your unreasonably optomistic arse.

The threat of leaving a job for a competitor is typically better leverage in getting a raise than loyalty.

So we have a guy with such little class that he will jeopardize an SEC championship and a recruiting class? Just so that he can get a few bucks more? If that is the case, we should all want him gone.

I hope he drives UM into the ground.
I'd hope he does well. I like Les. Just not as the LSU head coach.

Dude, the job he's always wanted has finally come open. And if he leaves, it's not about money.
