But he's like a really good learner and he sits back and lets his coaches coach. He also invites former players back to their alma mater and makes boosters feel special by giving them his world famous jambalaya recipe.

Everything I want from my DL Coach and Recruiting Coordinator!

Let's keep him when Jimbeaux decides on his staff.

Well see that's the thing. His love for LSU and LA is one of his greatest attributes, but that's only if they make him HC because otherwise he'll be vindictive and leave to be DL coach at another school. But he like really loves it here, and that should count, right?

It's a balance at this point for me. Jimbo losing this game would probably make him more attainable from the standpoint of FSU not fighting to keep him when we open up the bank. However, fan sentiment against Jimbo could influence the administration going after him. If he wins out, the fans would affirm the choice in spite of Orgeron's success.

Ideally the first scenario would be what happened, but you can't discount the administration reading into fan behavior given what happened last year, unfortunately.

we cant go insane and give him Harbaugh money, $9M+, plus his buyout (3M, i think), we'd have no money to spend on the other things we need to run the program. thats more than twice what Miles made (4.3).

our recruiting budget is already well below bamas.
