The agent for ex-Browns coach Romeo Crennel says his client would be interested in being the Giants' next defensive coordinator.
"So are a bunch of other people," points out Giants beat reporter Mike Garafolo. Crennel coached the Giants' defensive line under Bill Parcells in the 1990s. He is a 3-4 defensive mind, making Crennel a fairly odd fit for New York.

The Giants are reportedly competing with the Bears for the services of recently fired Bills interim head coach Perry Fewell.
NFL.com's Jason LaCanfora reported that Fewell was "very likely" to lead the Bears defense, but the former Bills coordinator is reportedly scheduled to interview with the Giants Thursday. The Giants have been tight-lipped about their search for a new coordinator.
