Damn, just when Currie was about to hire Leach and redeem the coaching search... UT found another way to frick it all up.

The reality is, LSU needs Tennessee to be stronger. As strong as possible. We need Alabama to have as tough of a permanent east opponent as we do with Florida.

Can't ever trust folks, but he did give a 100% denial on being the coach. Said something like, No, I assure you I will not be the head coach. That ship sailed a long time ago. If I coach anything, it will be my grandson's little league team.

"Acting AD" because Currie is on leave with pay. Said our University Chancellor as she peered out from behind the draperies, afraid that someone might demand an answer to some of the questions she said she wasn't going to answer.
