I never made mention of Oklahoma State. Don't know and don't care to go back over 3 year old articles and timelines.

We are talking about a man basically called out a few hours before the biggest game of his head coaching career because something was leaked to the media. The next day (Sunday) it was reported his agent told Michigan he was not interested. Five days later (Friday) he is on the phone with Michigan.

We can just agree to disagree. You are comfortable with his explanations and I'm not.

(emphasis added)

The need for the Miles press conference before the SEC CG wasn't about "a leak". Miles was upset because of the reporting of "disinformation".

A leak is when something that is the truth becomes known despite efforts to conceal it.

Disinformation is false information deliberately and often covertly spread (as by the planting of rumors) in order to influence public opinion or obscure the truth.

Two VERY different issues!

Now as to which term best describes what really happened...the world may never know.
But basically ask yourself who do you trust more...Herbstreit or Miles?

To each his own...Personally, I'm going with Miles!

Tell me something, who has tapped Les's phone and who knows every time he picks up his phone who he is talking to? This is ridiculous!
He is staying at LSU, what does he have to do to make everyone believe it? :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse:

You Les haters say Les is fueling the fire? I think YOU are the one's fueling the fire! Les has made his comments and moved on! You are telling Les to shut up? I think he did, you are the one's that continue to bash him and bring it up! If the media didn't say anything about the phone call then it wouldn't be a big deal. All the DFP did was say there was a phone call. Was that necessary? It seems they want to fuel the fire! Les haters will hate him regardless. Stop acting like you need reasons. If he doesn't say anything you say "He needs to end these rumors", if he says something you say "he needs to shut up!" The poor guy will never win so stop acting like you "want" to like him but he is messing that up! Just come out and say "I hate Les and always will". At least then us Les supporters will know what postings to skip over and which ones to read.

just my 2 cents.

so the bottom line was he was involved in a phone call about ideas for um finding a new hc?

Big Fat Hairy Deal. it was a phone call. and i don't want to hear any bullshite about how he needs to be preparing for the MNC game not taking phone calls. how long did the phone call last? i am willing to bet that he has taken shits that have lasted longer. all is all, i believe in les miles and i trust his word.

les miles has demonstrated time and again that he is a man of honor and his word. he is a class act and should be embraced by the fan base at LSU. he has devotion and loyalty to this team. why people cannot let go of their falsegod saban is beyond me.
