Mullen won't leave Mississippi State...he realizes the big one comes in time and after turning State into a winner-a better opportunity will be out there.

I live in Mississippi and I can say with no reservations that Louisiana doesn't have anything on Mississippi. Neither does Arkansas or Alabama.

Mullen should go after the TN job -- one of the top ten college jobs in the country. He's crazy to pass this up.

What I'm hearing out of Starkville is that Dan Mullens may have some interest in the Tennessee job. Supposedly had a meeting this morning with State's AD and told him that he is interested in listening. Seems as though he and Tenn's AD go back a long way. Muschamp may have been a front while they work a deal with Mullens. (FWIW, I think a current SEC would qualify as a "splash" hire.)
For UT's sake, I hope that lying, no good SOB doesn't bring his circus act to Knoxville. All he's done at State is run their program into the ground. He'll make Lane Kiffin look like the Pope when it's all said and done.
