no excuse for the offense being this bad two years in a row. it's pretty pathetic if miles is even considering letting crowton stay on.

lol of course miles is considering it. big Crow pulled his name out of the running for the ULL job for a reason.

I've lost all faith in us making a move, at least after the disaster DC season it was a winkwink type deal and we all knew what was up.

Defense is 08 was ranked 32nd

Offense in 2009 and 2010 was ranked anywhere between 90-115.

To put things in perspective.

I'll bite, yes it does. I really don't agree with staying as is with the last two years of NO offense.

Mett + better O line play again next year could make us forget all about this.

of course it does. miles isnt capable of running the offense, so its his job to hire someone to do that. continuing to back someone who has proven hes not capable of doing the job makes him negligible.

The question is for Choctaw because he's defended Miles for so long

I'll let Choctaw answer, but I still think Miles will do what he thinks is best for LSU and the team. If he keeps Crowton, then Miles doesn't think he can get a better coordinator that's on the market.

Miles isn't going to keep Crowton just because he likes the guy. That was evident early in the year when Miles had the playsheet in hand.

Regardless, firing Miles is retarded.

Again, Choctaw can answer, but in my opinion, it falls 100% on Miles. Miles obviously cannot coach an offense, and keeping Crowton on because Miles is not only loyal to a fault, but instead of giving Billy G a one year experiment if he can't find anything better that Crowton, he would extend his contract. I'm probably going to get bashed for this, but if our offense is even out of the top 50 next year, and it has any resemblance of this year, Miles and Crowton both need to pack their shite and get the hell out of Baton Rouge. It's just not fathomable what goes through Miles head that would make him even consider keeping Crowton around for one more year. If he honestly looked at our record this year and figured that was reason enough to keep Crowton on, then he is obviously just turning his shoulder to how shitty they looked this year and how crappy JJ is at QB. IF Crowton stays on, he needs to kiss Chavis and PP's arse. Those two, along with Miles being half-retarded, saved him.

To whoever said earlier that Miles is putting off canning Crowton because he would take the Michigan job... I can definitely see that as a possibility. I see Miles as their #2 and I would bet that Harbaugh would not go to Michigan for a year since he will most likely go straight to the NFL in the next year or two. If they offer again, I don't see how Miles doesn't take it this time.

Me too my man, me too.

And I'm as big of a Miles supporter as there is... but this would be a devastating mistake.

frick that. why do we have to "live" with such shitty performance? crowton gets paid a shite ton of money and hes not living up to his end of the contract

Because you and I don't have the power to hire or fire any coaches. If Les wants to keep him then we're going to have to live with it.
