Therefore, go after a guy that can prove his worth vs overpaying a guy for what he did somewhere else. Use the money for players and the second contract.
Willie Fritz is a proven winner. Indiana wouldn’t have cignetti if they worried about age. They wanted a winner.
Alex Golesh, up and comer with a great offense turned USF around.
Jon Sumrall, turned Troy around and has kept Tulane rolling.
Kenny Dillingham, has turned Arizona state around and made the playoff.
It’s a different time. You need a talent evaluated to find guys that love football vs want a pay check. Vandy, Indiana, etc are examples of this. These guys have had to evaluate talent to succeed at their level.
