No.

Football Scoop is an Ole Miss homer, he’s spreading false info to make it look like we are scrambling.

Didn't get that from Football Scoop. I don't even know who or what Football Scoop is.

I think it's comes down to the fact that your fan base might revolt if a 60 year old is hired. I still say that Fritz is what you need for the short-term fix.

I talked with a couple of people close to Tulane’s program. Willie Fritz is staying. Tulane is talking with Fritz about giving him a raise (likely $3 Million) and increasing his buyout. I don’t believe he was ever a top candidate for Arkansas or Missouri.

Also what I was told. Fritz is a good coach for Tulane.

Crazy. My source just told me Ole Miss never made a real offer to Kiffin and that he would have said no anyway. Gonna be interesting

$3 million what? Over the course of his contract?
Ain’t no way he’s getting that per year

Yeah it’s not a terrible job anymore. The pay is decent and there obviously are no expectations.

He's well past $1m right now. $3m over the course of the contract takes his $1.4m a year deal and improves it to around +/- $2.0m a year.

$2m/year is still great money for 6-6 in an environment where the press is ultra-kind and expectations aren't totally fricked.

Ole Miss, in accordance with their tradition of hiring Arkansas leftovers, is closing in on signing Chad Morris.
