I’m certainly not discounting how important the roster is, but if the people making the hire really believe what you say and the coach doesn’t really matter…. The 90s will seem like good times compared to what will come in that case

That’s why I thought he was full of crap, til Sunday came and it played out EXaclty like he said it would.

Except he said the new president would be firing Woodward. And we know that’s how it would have played out if he didn’t resign

same “sauce” told me the money people would nearly prefer to hire a no name coach, who was a good “fit”, and give him ALL the NIL money bc they felt like the coaches name didn’t really matter anymore and its all about NIL and who’s got the most.

In this made up scenario, why even bother to fire Kelly?

As much as I would like to beat Bama this weekend, this is putting me a big moral dilemma.

If we win Saturday, the calls for Frank will get loud. Nothing against Frank - seems like a great guy. But this job is way too big for him.

I’d like to think that the power brokers know this hire is too critical. However, I never thought LSU would’ve tapped post Ole Miss Orgeron for the full time gig either.

I detest interim coach situations.

That's such an overrated concept anyway. It's 99% about what the coach actually does every day and 1% any "brand name" he brings to the table.

LSU will lose all semblance of what it was and will become a trash heap with no fans

Wouldn’t surprise me. Not like it wouldn’t be the first time.
Honestly, I kinda expect it. Hell they just promoted within for the ad..

I am going to the game

I guess I have to pull for the Tide
