You see I wanted to say that in my last post but I held back because I agree with most of your rants.

Did you play football? Any high school or college affaliation will suffice. And before your rant on what does that have to do with football knowledge. Just answer the question.

Only people who never played say that. Do food critics that have never cooked critique chefs and expect to be taken seriously?

Nothing I've stated in this thread is false. I've in fact agreed with you in the whole thread yet you are teaching me something.

the only lesson I'm learning in this thread is the arrogance of postoholics. The SFP disease has spread to you. It's a pandemic.

You got served in this thread, yet, you are too arrogant to see it.

We tried that. It doesn't work. LB's on Harvin that is. But then again we are the only team in the country that has designed offensive play in which the intended receiver is a linebacker in the flats.

Technically yes but a nickelback just means 5. A fifth DB.

so, then, a dime would mean 10 DBs?

What about this newfangled "quarter"? Would that be 25 DBs? I think we need to run that motherfricker all the time.

We ran a 4-2-5 10 years ago when I was in highschool it is a great scheme. Coach by the name of David Feaster ran it then (im sure others did as well). He was the one who went before the LHSAA, took on Evangel, JCC and all that shite. Then left for Texas.

I think within the next 5 years you're going to have to be able to run both a 4-2-5 as well as a traditional 3-4 or 4-3. The spread is just too big of an influence, and you can't take the chance of your 225 lbs. linebacker getting matched up against a Percy Harvin

It's football, not Rocket Science. There's not that much difference in a 4-3, 3-4 or 4-2-5. I'd probably rather have a faster DB in my base defense to make plays with all the new passing offenses. So Bumpas runs a nickel package as his base defense; what's the problem?. Whatever defense is being run, it just needs to be SIMPLE enough that the LB's and DB's can play it without having to "Think" too much. (See 2008 LSU Defense for example).......

Hey Colonel what day you get to put it in SFP and what day you get to put it in LE?

Here is a few articles to describe what I was stating earlier.

What is really funny is that you really laughed at that and thought it was a joke.
