At UL, this is the department where he has really turned the program around.

Money isn’t everything to Napier.

You don't turn down that kind of money based what might happen years down the road. Remember how hot a name PJ Fleck was in 2016? Things change.

You know who is willing to give full control to a Sun Belt coach? Sun Belt schools.

Are you implying that the ULL administration has no say so on who Billy hires?

Still, I am hard pressed to buy into the idea he is offered the Auburn job with all its obvious advantages over anything ULL can offer but he says no because the school wants some say so in what goes on within the schools football program.

Or sexton is using random jobs to boost his profile…

Sexton is the top agent in the sport. He does not represent anyone who doesn't have at least mid tier P5 offers.

If he actually had an offer on the table waiting for his signature from Auburn and he turned it down, there’s something wrong with him.

Auburn boosters literally just got Gus fired because they were mad at him not allowing them into the locker room post game. Not exactly hard to see why somebody who is going to be floated for every major opening in the next couple of years would choose to not go there. There's a reason why the best Auburn could do was the Boise State coach that Boise fans were glad to be rid of.
