Does it really benefit Riley to say yes?...

To the question last night? Or to side step the question? I have to imagine if he had not signed on the dotted line prior to the game last night then why would he tell his team after they just lost a heartbreaker to ruin their conference and cfp hopes? I imagine he would want to tell his team first after he has something inked and not let them hear it from a press conference. Also if it was only a handshake deal prior to that, think about Joe Alleva pulling the plug on Herman when he was wanting to hear other offers. I just think it's completely plausible that there wasn't an inked deal prior to LR's last regular season game.

Of course he wasnt gonna say "Yea I'm jumping on a flight to BR right now"

But he could have been a little less definitive. Coach speak etc

Also.. Delly's article extinguished any remaining hope I had.
