Rattler was pre season Heisman leader...he sucked...Riley yanked him.
O and/or Miles would have left him in to throw pics and fumble the season away.

The whole walk-on to Heisman is a good story but he could have gone somewhere on scholly. He went there and proved he is worth millions playing ball. When Riley doubled down with that style I assumed he found a style, a style I was glad he was expressing at OU and not LSU. I like Aranda, obviously
