Does Dave Aranda have an objectively better resume than Mel Tucker?

Mel Tucker as a head coach:
2019: 5-7
2020: 2-5
2021: 8-1
Wins over ranked teams:
2019: #25 Nebraska and #24 Arizona State
2020: #13 Michigan and #8 Northwestern
2021: #24 Miami and #6 Michigan
Background:
NFL defensive coordinator, P5 defensive coordinator.
Dave Aranda as a head coach:
2020: 2-7
2021: 8-2
Wins over ranked teams:
2020: None.
2021: #14 Iowa State, #19 BYU, #8 Oklahoma
Background:
P5 defensive coordinator.
Would Aranda be under consideration if he had never been the DC at LSU? If he hadn't, would the reaction to potentially hiring him as a head coach be met with the same collective disapproval as for Tucker?
For the record, I'm not advocating for Tucker - but if you remove the recent LSU connection and look at the coaches objectively, you can't make a strong argument for Aranda over Tucker.

Mel Tucker has a lot of experience and all of it until this year sucked

Tucker is an after thought. 95/100 LSU fans would prefer at least 3-4 candidates over him and Woodward knows that.

Dave has a better track record coaching his side of the football. That can’t be argued
Both are two small of sample sizes as head coaches to truly say who’s better
I prefer Dave

You forgot-Aranda DC of 2019 national champions

His climb and defenses have always been more impressive to me. Especially considering he didn't do it under a Saban or Smart. He made a name for himself.
Whether it is right or wrong I believe Georgia's defense is all Kirby. They only get better all the time.
I don't believe Aranda has ever been fired as a defensive coach either.

Ignoring that connection is ridiculous though. It’s a straw man argument.
Aranda knows all of the high school coaches and programs in LA and many in TX. He’s familiar with the coaches and programs we play against. I’m sure he knows many of the people in the athletic dept, as well as the TAF and boosters. How does this not come into play?
Even if you consider then to be equal candidates (I actually don’t), then Aranda’s connections and knowledge of the SEC and local recruiting is your deciding factor in his favor. Tucker can’t beat this with just his resume.

Tucker was in the SEC from 2015-2018 at Alabama and Georgia.
Same amount of time Aranda was at LSU.

Didn’t Tucker’s defenses in the NFL suck? Why is that a plus?

It doesn't matter because neither one of them are remotely qualified to become the next head coach of LSU.

Your obsession with Kiffin is unhealthy

No more unhealthy than your unhinged obsession with Riley.

Dave was regarded as a goddamn genius before he was a head coach.
The other guy was regarded as a token before he was a head coach.

Did Mel Tucker hold together a team led by a complete and utter moron on the way to a national title? Because Aranda did.

Is Tucker up for the Bama or UGA jobs? It’s not the same. He may know a few HS coaches here, but there’s nothing like the connections you build AT THE ACTUAL SCHOOL you would be returning to. Same for being the DC at the home universitie vs being just another position coach at Bama 2 states away or a DC 3 states away that doesn’t recruit that many players in LA.
Tucker’s connections to LA and LSU are nowhere near Aranda’s. Coaching for a couple of other SEC programs don’t bridge that gap.
