Does Dave Aranda even want to be a college coach much longer?

I was always under the impression Aranda's ultimate goal has always been to be an NFL DC. He's a pretty awkward guy, so naturally you can assume he does not enjoy recruiting.
LSU is finally going to have the personnel he's wanted upfront for his prototypical defense, which I figured would lead to a defense that got him the NFL gig he's always longed for. Even if he doesn't go to A&M I don't expect him to be at lSU for 2 more years or anything.
Just rambling really. would suck if he's an aggie, but whatever they've sucked forever and their rich arse boosters are tired of it. seems like a model that won't work but leave it to the ags to take a dump on college football

If he’s getting $3m a year to be a DC, then he will be a college coach forever.

Yup. Even at $2m it made it near impossible to get him to the NFL unless it was for a DC position. No position coach is getting paid that.
