Add this to the negatives: Longhorn Network. He'd have to do a show every week in addition to what he does every week at Bama. More time with the press, who he just LOVESSSSS, more time on shite not related to football.

I guaran-frickin-tee you Texas would let him do whatever the frick he wants. If he says "NO INTERVIEWS" there will be no interviews.

The big reason I could see him leaving Bama is that he's bored with what he has built, and wants another challenge.
TBH, I'm not sure the UT job presents that kind of a challenge. The program is hardly in a state of disrepair, and it wouldn't take him long to get them back to the top.

Yes, new challenge for him. Bama is getting stale, and he's already brought them to the top. Win 2 NCs at Texas, and he is the undisputed GOAT

This pressure argument is pretty stupid. Let Texas win 3 NC in 4 yrs and see how the pressure is. It's the same. See Florida. People come to expect it, no matter how unreasonable it is.

But it wouldnt be there at the beginning as bad. He has no where to go at Bama but down.

For many coaches the answer would be no. Why leave his current situation?
But for a highly-driven person like Nick Saban, the answer is obviously Yes. He enjoys the challenge of getting to the top much more than staying there. He knows he is excellent at coaching college football, and that his process for doing that will be successful as long as he has the resources (i.e., money and players) to make it work.
He brought LSU and Alabama back to the top and knows he can do the same at a handful of other schools. Texas just happens to be the best place for that to happen at the current time (MB situation) just like it was for Alabama when his NFL coaching experiment failed.
He wants to establish his legacy as the GOAT college football coach and will do whatever it takes to reach that goal.

It really depends on what his long term plans are. If he wants to coach for another 5 years? I'd say go, because it doesn't get much better than Austin to live, and his grand kid is supposedly there.
UT's issues aren't from a huge lack of talent, and they are much like Bama if not in much better shape than when he took over there. He also doesn't have a team like those UF teams or LSU teams to go up against in the Big XII.
Bama is reloading and no one knows how they good they will be next season. At worst they'll be a 3-4 loss team, and at best if all their young players step up, especially at QB, than they could make a national title run.
It all comes down to only a few things. How happy are the Saban's in Tuscaloosa and is Saban ready to hang it up in the next 2-3 years. If he is, then I think he should stay at Bama. If he wants to coach another 5 years, then go to UT. Look at Urban Meyer taking over tOSU. Had they not been on probation last year, he'd have likely played in the BCS NC game.

I think he should go, although i know he wont, i just think he should
he could be the first to turn around and win Championships at three storied schools...he is a builder...nothing left to do at Bama..
could make it happen quick at Texas because of his name, recruits would go nuts in texas
