USC coach Clay Helton has spoken to Ed Orgeron about a return to the Trojans as defensive line coach. Orgeron, currently an assistant with LSU, is interested, according to sources. Any deal could be contigent on whether athletic director Pat Haden approves on Orgeron returning and nothing will probably be determined until after LSU’s season is over

Similar to obsessive cd (commonly called ocd) but the person is compulsively defensive instead of obsessive. There are many examples of defensive cd over on the Rant.

Seems like BS. No way Ed goes to USC just to take the same job he has at LSU (his dream job).

There are plenty of opportunities for head jobs in Louisiana. Lots and lots whores and skanks with no teeth down there for the best bj's

SC fans in the comments don't seem too optimistic about it. The part about Haden having to approve O is weird.
Also there was another story saying they fired Petros Papadakis from being basketball in stadium announcer by text. Haden is an all around dick.

Actually, I could see it, given that LSU almost fired Miles and may have a similar decision at hand again next year. If Orgeron goes back to USC, I'm sure he gets similar money and a little more security since the head coach just got the job.

Personally, I think he's trying to get a raise here and the USC talk is a way to try to advance that cause. But stranger things have happened.

Believe me, O is secure here, it's just a question if he wants to return to USC, which I just don't see. Kids, family here in La., why would he go back to USC for the same position, likely same pay? After being turned down there as the head coach, I would feel belittled to go back as Line coach.

I started a thread on this about two weeks ago and it got whacked.

Lisa Horne tweeted about it, saying her inside sources at USC mentioned O being interested in returning.

Actually, she said on December 8th that Orgeron was "in talks with USC"...
