Holy frick this needs it''s own thread.

I've been telling people to read Meat Market. I read it in like 2008 I think. Whenever we lost Joe McKnight. I've been anti-O since then.

Hey guys, waiting wiki approval so far but here's what i got:

Derek Cornelius Ponamsky is the 2nd de facto head coach in LSU Football history, replacing the long-inactive "Godfather of LSU Football" Huey P. Long, filling a void which has gone unoccupied since the pre war days similar to how Jacob Hester's #18 suddenly shattered its dormancy and connected to Matt Mauck's like-numbered shirt like a mud dauber nest to the underside of your vinyl porch.

Wow. DP is evidently an evil genius. Two year plan to make a lateral move pay wise and have to work three times as hard for
the money?
You boys really have it all figured out. Let's get a conference together and have you take a shot at a Middle East peace process or a cure for Alzheimer's
Bunch of whining goofballs
Herman wasn't going to happen once Texas job opened up
Jimbo was not going to leave FSU
Saban, Harbaugh, Meyers, Peterson, McIlwain, we're all non options
Every other candidate In America was at best a ground rule double. No home run guys out there. Herman was the only "it" guy available in 2016. Sucks for LSU, but that is the reality
We made a run at Herman and it obviously wasn't going to work. O and Ponamsky put together a very sellable plan for LSU and you asshats act like we turned down Steve Spurrier to hire Mike Archer again
The Spurrier/Herman option wasn't ours this time
But please, keep blaming the fat pollack. Evidently it makes some of you feel better about your lack of understanding of the coaching landscape and options we were looking at this year

Seriously. Did you really want Larry Fedora or Mike Gundy?

Evidently there were only two options considered and LSU had to have a guy in place by noon on Saturday. Pretty thorough search.

We hired a guy who will ground into a double play with the bases loaded.

Even a guy who can hit singles or a sacrifice fly would be better.

I certainly didn't want O. Fedora and Gundy are miles better than O.

Which was virtually the same plan at Ole Miss. Why didn't that work?

How does Gundy have a worse resume than O?

Ok. Then who were the three other guys after Herman and Fisher that you would be pumped about as head coach at LSU?

Before a journeyman DL coach? Absolutely. I would have taken a top level offensive coordinator over a DL coach that has never been a coordinator, any day of the week.

Taggart, he's rebuilt two programs.
Rhule, he's won at Temple.
Fleck, he's won at WMU.

You know what they all have in common? They all have won as many games in one season as O did in 3 at Ole Miss.

How would all the Facebook moms and clueless girls on Facebook who love the O hire react if they knew O stabbed Les in the back to get the job? These are the same people who influenced Alleva to keep Les last season.

You are lying your arse off. If Fedora or Gundy had been hired, 95% of the people complaining about O would have been howling about those hires

Great to be able to complain no matter what happens
