If he wanted the SC job why would he wait to get fired, why not just resign? Also I've seen SC fans say he'd bring Mike Tice with him to be the OLine coach. What young recent former NFL head coach leaves the NFL to be a college position coach?

If Tice goes with JDR to SC then he is probably a college HC within 2 years. He's already made a shite ton of $ in the NFL and qualifies for their pension plan so he probably wants to be a HC again and that ain't happening in the pros.
