Defensive Player Development?

I think we should add a Director of Defensive Player Development. Preferably I would like us to add a d-lineman that has been successful both in college and professionally i.e. Glenn Dorsey

Hopefully, Faulk brings some of that "Patriot Way" to LSU.

DJ was an OK college LB. Kids tend to listen to people that have been to the top of the mountain. Also, our LB core is pretty solid. Our d-line/pass rushers need to get to another level.

I would hire Ryan Clark as the Safeties Coach. Don't know how likely that is though.

He is, but I think if he was to join the staff it'll have to be as an on field assistant(safeties coach). The NCAA put in a rule that you can't hire high school coaches with ties to recruits to off field positions.
