LINK Any chance in hell we can get this guy..Grew up under Mike Leache of Texas Tech, has developed there QBs and is now in his second year at Houston with an amazing offense and is doing it with a sophmore QB...or do we want to go away from the spread after what we have seen with Gary

Personally, this would be my pick. I wouldn't mind taking the whole offensive staff actually although I do like our recent additions.

I played for him at Mississippi College. Good coach but his philosophy is not fit for the SEC. He is a very laid back, players coach. He used to talk to us about va-j-j and things like that. Too loose of a ship for what we need IMO

So we all complain how we don't get the ball to our dozens of playmakers and then you don't want a guy who's extremely less talented playmakers put up ridonkulous numbers??? C'mon man!

I've never complained about our playing power football. I've never been a fan of the spread. I like pro-style, power football offense. The spread requires too much specialization in personnel and doesn't allow players to showcase their NFL talent, except for wide receivers.

No, No, No -- We need to run a pro-style offense and not play junk ball. There is a reason that pro teams run pro style offenses -- best way to beat fast and strong defenders. Spurrier, Glanville, and other red gun offenses did NOT work in the NFL.

I haven't been for the spread either, but majority of our fans complain that we don't get it to our playmakers. If the philosophy of the offense is to be a spread team, why wouldn't you want the OC of one of the best spread teams statistically, who coaches currently in your recruiting area.
If we stay spread I would like Dana. If we were to go pro-style that would be fine by me and many fans. Just saying.
