His problem is he lacks some coaching ability. He can't displine these kids. I know from meeting him more than once that he is incapible of hurting a fly.

What's Mile's magic number next year if he gets a new OC?

What is it if he keeps Crowton?

i can't wait for all the jj supporters to stand up for him with excuses like...it's a new system, give him time, next year will be our year...imo you guys should keep crowton...jj's gonna suck worse next year with a new coach

This is the ONLY reason I see for keeping Crowton. I agree.

So if you can tell me what Crowton has done wrong, I will believe you, but right now, I think LSU would be stupid to fire him.

Tell me what our offensive gameplan was in any game this year.

Crowton acted like he was picking plays based on how pretty the diagram of them was this year.

Fail: JJ improved this year and can be even better next year. A solid running game expands his game. Hire an OC that is not so utterly predictable.

I do not see much improvement.

I saw the LSU / GaTech game,LAST YEAR
where / how has he improved since.

Crowton develops a game plan that HE thinks will work...end of story

HE NEVER CONSIDERS DEVELOPING THAT PLAN AROUND HIS TALENT.....
Therefore, they can not execute.

A smart coach develops around the talent's abilities and capabilities.

Crowton does not know how, want to, or ????
but he does not.

Crowton's scheme didn't put JJ in a position to succeed. That's a problem, and one that should have been fixed early on.
Yes, finally someone who sees the light. JJ is not Tebow but damn if you put in a shceme to maximize his strengths and mask his weaknesses, he could be much more effective.

Also, if you could get the plays into him a little sooner so he had more than 2 or 3 seconds to read the defense, his reads might improve.

Crowton shouldn't be fired...

Are you kidding? Our offense is last in the SEC. We are ranked below Tulane on the national scale, that itself is enough to warrant a firing. We bench our best players, and poorly utilize our speed. Russell Shepard didn't throw one pass all year, we didn't run the option with Holliday to the wide side of the field until the Ark. game, now tell me why it took ALL SEASON to run an option to Holliday to wide side of the field, then we stopped doing it when it started working, it just doesn't make sense. Crowton keeps calling plays that don't work, and stops calling plays that work. He needs to go, the players deserve better then this.

I dont like the no-huddle as a routine matter.

I dont like the play calling either.

What's with passing on first down with one minute to go in the Ole Miss game? They were already in field goal range.

That gets me a new offensive coordinator, right there.+
