Miles wasn't going to be gone if we lost to Arkansas, but his seat will have definitely been pretty damn hot. LSU is not dishing out almost $12M to buy his arse out after this season.

I want Crowton gone too, but you never know what's going to happen. Also, everyone is going crazy over getting some big name, but fact is that Oregon got Chip Kelly from 1-AA New Hampshire, so it doesn't have to be some big name, and can likely get that person on the cheap.

I just want what is best for LSU football.. I have no real idea of what should happen other than, LSU should be top 20 in offense every single year...

QB is an issue the last 2 years..

The glaring problem is our offense is very predictable with who is on the field...

I think Crowton can coach, but something is very broken..and it's up to Miles to fix it...If Miles finishes 8-5 ,next year while Saban goes to Atl 3 years in a row...I can pretty much say, miles is done at LSU, no matter the buyout..

i agree! we all want the best for LSU.. I just think if it was as simple as making a coaching change it would have already been done...i think LSU's offensive woes are much more than that..OL play QB play ect...oh yea and play calling...

I am going by what Belowpar is posting..the Longhorn fan is just basing it on "the contract"...he is here per the contract..blah blah...maybe so, but failure to perform is ripe for ignoring the contract and doing what you have to do the right the ship's coarse

Hey Stomp, why don't you stop trying to be something you are clearly not? I mean seriously.. Belowpar is a legit inside source, and you come in waving your UT flag know it all attitude is not welcome here... Either put up or remain silent.

Nobody knows anything, because it hasn't been worked out yet...but we know people are being contracted as per Belowpar, so there is some "want" ...the results are unknown. anybody pretending they know are lying..

Personally not a betting tiger, but I still feel chances that GC on staff for 2010 season less than 10%. I think he has something lined up and will leave days to a week after the bowl game.

Just trusting what I feel about the situation regardless of buyouts etc...

Miles was given a "vote of confidence" from the powers that be...almost assuring him 2-5 more years...the reason you may ask? to help in convincing the new coaches that they were not coming to a temp position...

I will make a prediction after reading the tea leaves for Tigers 2010:

LSU beat R-AKansas 33-30 in OT with the R-Kansas kicker missing a field goal. (12th game)

Next day, Saints beat Redskins 33-30 in OT with a missed field goals. (12th game of season) Follow me man? Tea leaves are talking to me.

CONCLUSION: LSU goes 12-0 in 2010, win SECC and plays tOSU again in Fiesta Bowl here in AZ.

The Shaqtus will do the coin toss. CM will have 2 MNC in six years and be sainted next to the LSU Tower. Watch and see 12-0!! It's in the tea leaves. Predestined says the Shaman!!
