Could we get Auburn DC?

Paul Rhoads, and all Auburn DC's by law have to go to Texas after they leave Auburn.

I like Rhoads. If we had an offense this year, his defense would have been seen as one of the best in the SEC, IMO. I don't think he's on the same tier as Muschamp though.

I think he has a good defense, and I personally think he did an excellent job running a 4-3 with what was left behind by Muschamp who was recruiting players for a 3-4 defense.

My one issue with the defense this year (and I don't know if it was Rhodes style, the position coach or dictated by the players themselves, but the DBs seemed to be playing well off in a lot of situations. I would have much rather seen the corners come up and bump the receivers and try to slow them down off the line as opposed to playing an 8 yard cushion. If you go back and look at game film there were a lot of times where opposing teams would through little quick hitters to WRs and just move down the field in 5-8 yard chunks.
