When one of the next generation AIs get completed, could a team allow that AI to make every head coaching decision and win?

I guess the biggest issue would be how AI would be fed the information about and evaluate and train players. We often see the mistakes made when just numbers or stats are used to evaluate.

A lot of the Cowboys early success was attributed to their pioneering use of computers.

Will this AI coach be on the sidelines coaching players or in the booth?

At this point just get former players to come in and coach until we get out of this hell hole that BK put us in.

.I would assume you would have someone manning a device on the field where the decisions were relayed as well as folks entering a lot of in-game data into the AI

This is the kind of dumb shite that’s the reason why we don’t have the coaching changes board year around.

My question wasn't a serious, trust me. I think it's funnier to me than anyone else.

It’s already there. I cringe every time I hear an announcer say oh he’s going with the analytics here.

I think we are closer.

I was half serious in the OP as I see some team in the near future letting AI make at least playcalling and game decisons.

No. We already see “analytics” causing coaches to make stupid decisions every week.

Congrats! It's a tough task but you've managed to make the dumbest post in Coaching Changes Board history.

So AI can beat the best chess players in the workd but no ond will ever use them to better a coach?

Chess pieces are lifeless, emotionless beings trapped in the plane of existence of a chessboard. Humans, especially football players, are independently sentient and require different inputs than chess pieces. Not sure why this is a hard concept to grasp.

Yes, "AI" can absolutely be used in game prep. But actually being a live game manager and leader of men? Please be for real.

Analytics is already 50% AI.
Situational probability is math. Feed the machine accurate information, and it will provide probable solutions.

I would pay money to watch a game coached by AI coaches versus scoreboard posters on an LSU game day.

Artificial intelligence vs damn near retardation
