I may actually start to believe ESPN hates LSU. What a bunch of retards. First Herbstreit, now Schaed. Bunch of idiots.
First they vilify Miles for being such a terrible coach, winning with Saban players, poor clock mgt., eating grass, hokie play calling.
He beats Florida, Bama, and wins the Cotton Bowl.
Then they vilify the LSU fans for not being happy with Coach Miles, saying he's a proven winner and we are a spoiled and delusional fan base.
Cmon Man. Pick a side
Oh and NICE BREAKING NEWS REPORTING. Someone should put Herby and Shaed in the corner with a dunce cap.

Miles just suckered them in this time. They fell for it.

Here is how this works:
Michigan was not going to officially offer until Michigan and Miles agreed to all terms. What took place last night was the negotiation of these terms. They never agreed, so, officially, Michigan never offered.
This helps Michigan save face. If they would have officially offered, it would have meant that Miles had already informally agreed.
This allows ESPN to run with their clip last night about "Miles would accept if offered," because, while misleading, it's technically correct.

Any advertisement is good advertisement. I like LSU in the spotlight. I would rather it be the spotlight Auburn was in last night...but having LSU out front and center (with exception of Camgate type situations) is allright with me.
That said, ESPN needs to have a serious look at their "sources".
