I just don’t think he will be a star as a head coach. That sounds like a classic example of a Hall of Fame head coach(that calls the plays) and quarterback making you look better.
At this point, I hope he does get a job just so everyone will shut up

Yeah it's clear nobody thinks EB is head coach material right now. This argument about it being due to his race is silly.
2 years ago the best HC option was Brian Daboll and he didn't get a job and had to go back to being OC again. And he does it all and calls plays on game day. That was the year the talking heads really rioted over EB. Daboll has since shown he looks like a legit HC.
This is the same situation as Pete Carmichael in Nola. He got his shot last year (didn't even really want it) and failed. If he does again, his career is derailed.
