Cincy playoff snub makes Fickell an easy target for big programs

People on here have claimed Fickell isn't going anywhere except Ohio State. I always thought that was a ridiculous claim with no facts backing it. Now that we saw that the playoff committee has zero intention of allowing a group of 5 team in during a year when Cincy smoked Notre Dame and the rest of college football is somewhat weak, I would guess Fickell becomes a much easier target to pull. USC has the AD who hired him at Cincy so they probably have the upper hand but this guy is the best coach available and I don't really think it's even close. Seeing Riley's comments on loyalty and coaching fires/hires I highly doubt LSU can pull him.
This guy hopefully is the number 1 target and I feel like we could easily pull him.

Even with OU and Big Tex leaving, the Big12 will still be on par with PAC... He will get his playoff shot at Cincinnati.

Stability is great in this business and when you can create some stability in the things around you, the grass is not always greener and it does make you realize what great fortunes you have to be building something and have some stability – not just for you as a person and you as a family guy, but you as a program and the kids in the program.
