If I remember correctly, doesn't he have to serve some suspension if he comes back to college due to something that happened at Oregon?

Better question: didn't Les beat him head to head a few years ago?

FWIW, La Canfora was on Jim Rome a few minutes ago and said that enough time has passed and he would not have to sit out.

Yes he did beat Kelly with one of the best LSU teams ever. Your argument is fricking weak dude.

That was also probably Chip Kelly's best team, talent wise. Les whipped his arse straight up. His 2nd best team talent wise got straight up beat by Gene Chizik on the biggest stage possible.

I don't get the hype.

Chips best team oh what? 3 star recruits? While LSU has 5s all over the field

Oregon never had top 5 class to my knowledge

Chip said after the game he just didn't have the line speed to compete with us in the trenches. He would have that talent at LSU and in the South.

So did fricking everyone that year. They had this guy named Cam Newton and it took him a last minute FG to win.

ETA:

I don't want him because his personality would clash with South Louisiana bigggg time.

Yea, they beat Oregon in the national title game with one of the best QBs in CFB history with a late FG.

The same Auburn team that Sabam blew a 24-0 lead with

Kelly would have to somewhat change his style. Almost all of the games they lost at Oregon, it was because they got beat in the trenches. He'd need to recruit bigger players and focus more on defensive recruiting than he did at Oregon.

We'd almost for sure lose Orgeron and Wilson because Kelly is a control freak.

It would be very interesting. Would much rather Fisher.

Cam Newton didn't hold Oregon to 19 points, with Oregon having a month to prepare.

So a last second fg is what you call straight up beat

What did you call Bama losing to Cam that year then?

Straight up beat as in it didn't take some miraculous comeback. Auburn essentially dominated that game.

19 points.

But Oregon did hold Cam Newton to 22 despite 2 turnovers

This.

And I'm sure he learned some things in the league like Nick Saban did. (who is also a control freak)

I would also rather Jimbo.
