I listen to chips morning show, and yes he is a guy who gets stuff wrong, but he also gets a lot right. He knows a ton of people

Also, it's not like the guy said Herman IS coming to LSU. He just said LSU's in the late stages of negotiation and there's a strong possibility it happens.

Texas insisted on letting Strong finish out the regular season. Because of that, they've lost ground in the Herman race. However, I assure you that this isn't over, not by a long shot. Once Strong is officially fired -- which I'd expect to be tomorrow -- Texas will cone out with guns a'blazing.

I see the Herman stuff as smoke to either get Jimbo to nut up and make a decision, or to keep pressure off of Jimbo with all that happened last year, and he still has a game to coach. There's just too much leaking out about Herman after things were so tight lipped.
