Mike Haywood (Former RB coach at LSU) may be out at ND, he was the OC (In title only).
The name coming up for QB coach at USC is Carl Smith (Former OC for the Saints). Carl sat out two years after working as the OC for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
GA Jason Beck at LSU looks to have a job with Weber State.
Miami University is looking at Curt Mallory(Dougs brother)for the HC'ing job. Curts Dad, Bill coached at Miami from 1969-73.
Another La. guy Vance Joseph (Played at Shaw in NO) name has been pushed around in coaching jobs. Hes been the San Francisco 49ers secondary coach. Another former LSU coach had that job at one time: Bo Pelini.
Lots of movement with jobs this year. Hard to keep up. Right place at the right time will come into play this year.
A couple of former SEC coaches have been pushing their names around.

be interesting to see how that plays out. and this year may have been the first where he actually was more of the OC, he called plays until the last few games.

Wasn't Haywood a head coaching candidate for a couple of jobs last year? I think it came down to him or Sumlin at UofH. Man, they made the right hire.

His name has been thrown around every year.

Yeah it has been pretty impressive what Sumlin was able to do with U of H this season. Just wait until that guy is able to recruit his own players to the program.

Haywood interviewed for the Washington job this year. Not sure he'll ever be much more than a position/ special teams coach and recruiter.

He and Francis, Mark Emmert is a lot smarter than that.

Haywood nice guy, but not cut out to be much more than a position coach

Vance Joseph is the brother to Mickey who coached with Daye at Nicholls. He was the QB that broke his leg during a TV game. Anyone that saw that game remembers Mickey and his career ending injury. They ran the option and Vance coached DBs. HMMMM. Vance has a La. group ready to go should he get the NMSU job. Don't think he has been contacted by LSU, but should be. There is also a brother, Terry, who is at LaTech.
Just read the Macon paper and it states that Monken was in the mix for the NWLA job.
