Can't Believe O has 88% chance of becoming HC

Don't get me wrong I was pulling for O to win out and be successful but I was hoping that LSU would be able to snag Herman for HC.
This is really looking like a disaster with LSU getting played by Jimbo and Herman. They had months to get a deal in place but Alleva sat on his thumbs watching the O train gain momentum.
I was pulling for O but his Les Miles gameplan and over use of ineffective LF7 against Bama and the trash talk/fight/weak red zone performance against Florida was like a smelling salt for my senses.
We deserve a coach like Herman (I hope McElwain is right and we get what we deserve) but what O did after the Bama and Florida losses really impressed me.
I fully expected the Tigers to be mailing it in against A&M after losing to Florida with that goal line heartbreak and the short week but O had these guys on fire.
I don't think O is the worst thing that could happen to LSU. If he gets a good OC like Kiffen or Applewhite, I think we'll be great with O firing everyone up and maintaining the discipline C.E.O. style while Aranda and the new OC scheme the X's and O's. It's working for Clemson with Dabo and it worked for Bama with Bryant.
Maybe Alleva blowing the deals with Jimbo and Herman will be a blessing in disguise. O has made the Tigers entertaining and was almost 6-1 with a TE coach calling the plays. With a really good OC we'd easily be competing for the SEC West each year.
I'm starting to think that O is the right guy for this job.
