Jim Chaney to Pitt

Dan Enos To Arkansas

Arkansas looking to change OC

quote:

Arky fans are a strange bunch. They try to do a reverse melt. Making it seem like they wanted the OC to go even tho they had the two best wins in history against LSU and Ole miss. They try really hard and I applaud them for that.

quote:

All that momentum heading into next season, and they lose their OC

ouch

quote:

And  at Arkansas fans who think they're gonna upgrade from Jim Chaney. Where exactly is Bert gonna get a Pro-style OC to run his offense? In case you haven't noticed most teams run the spread these days. It's slim pickins out there for Pro-style OC's, and the odds that Bert gets a good one are slim. Hell UGA had to settle for that bum Brian Schottenheimer, and you think Arky'sgonna get a good Pro-style OC?

quote:

he sucks

quote:

Hopefully this guy can improve the Hogs fortunes by 50%!!!

I'm talking about propelling the Hogs to 3 SEC wins in the next two years!

quote:

But really him being a bad head coach doesn't matter. There are plenty of great Coordinators who are terrible head coaches. The fact that he has never been the OC at a FBS school should be concerning.

quote:

Sorry pigs, this is a head scratcher.

I agree with the troll... this guy hasn't really cut his teeth as an OC in FBS. CMU was rolling before he got there as head coach. I guess it isn't all bad, but most of the good appears to come from how well you can spin it.

quote:

That would be a big loss for ya"ll and a huge mistake for chaney.

quote:

I don't think the OC makes much of a difference under Bielema.

What he did with Brandon Allen was a thing of beauty.

Bert knows how to hire quality coaches, and he nailed this one.

I agree. It also helps that we got better every game.

i think what he did with the WR's is just as impressive

last year we had One WR. He gets hurt the 2nd game of the season, he's out for season, we lose our 2nd and third WR's for most of the year as well, and Dan fricking morgan has 9TD catches and we somehow go from havin(we stacked as frick there next year don't lose one player)

Dan Morgan only played in the Mississippi State game.

Along with Taiwan Jones and Dominique Brown.

Who ever doubted it? He was probably the difference in 51-50 vs. 51-28.

I consider it an upgrade. Chaney's play calling tended to suck in the second half.

Enos is an idiot. He left a CMU team that went to a bowl game last year and went to a bowl game this year to be an OC at Arkansas. The moron would be considered for P5 jobs now.

He's an idiot and that's putting it lightly.

uhh no. He was close to being fired after one more middling year, and if you're fired from a CMU there is barely a chance to lateral into another HC job and absolutely no chance to move up.

he leaves CMU before he's let go, and if he proves himself to be a solid OC in the SEC, something better than a CMU will come for him.
