Can we at least agree that IMPROVING Miles' contract is idiotic?

I mean, if we are forced to keep him, then fine. But actually paying MORE? Please.

We don't see eye to eye on everything Jersey, but I agree with this.

I don't mind paying him more

Just dont extend the time of the contract and try to reduce the buyout

IMPROVING it for who? Miles may get more money, but it doesn't mean things such as the rollover or the buyout couldn't be altered.

If no other employer comes around and is willing to pay his buyout clause?

This should be a given, but it's not.

Miles receives top 5 compensation in the nation for CFB coaches.

LSU needs to up that? Why? He's already paid fair market value.

I am not against extending by 3 to 5 more years his current contract and its incentives. I think that may be what he is after since he didn't get extensions for a couple of years now.

We should not get into any kind of bidding war with any other school....He's paid very, very well...and, oh yeah, he signed a contract to that effect....
