I'm not saying or pretending that Tulane is a coaching destination spot, but we're talking G5 here. You don't need the same big bodies in the trenches which LA already lacks, you need a lot of playmakers which the South has a dime a dozen. Tulane should, and probably will moving forward, look for innovative and offensively minded coaches to make the team better. Fritz looks like we won't have to worry about many losing seasons and should be able to get us to a bowl game most season which will in turn get better recruits, etc.

Fritz is in a good spot. Tulane is on the upswing and they are competing well. They have a great Stadium and are supported by the community. Like some posters said pick up the recruits left out by LSU and with key transfers they will be a successful program.

Tulane left the SEC in 1965.
