I told y'all last season that Scott sucked. But nobody listened then. Lawrence Frack will follow soon

Not I. They should have pulled the trigger after last season. The GM has made the Hornets job less than desirable

The Hornets FO thought replacing an always injured Chandler with a healthy Okafor would fix all of their problems and they'd be a contender again. They were clearly wrong and in salary cap hell so the team had to be blown up. Also, Byron was not playing the rookies much despite being mandated to do so. Since Bower took over has given them lots of playing time, Thorton and Collison have been solid compared to the garbage that had been ahead of them on the depth chart.

Trying to trade Chandler before the trade deadline last year really screwed up the trust they had with the FO, and the implosion insued.

I guess i wouldnt mind. Shanahan would be good for Buffalo.

I liked Byron though, i felt like the players liked playing for him. I do like seeing some of the younger guys play though.

Yes Avery Johnson is the man to replace B. Scott. I'd much rather him than Tim Floyd. I still don't get why they fire byron scott and replace him with the person he replaced basically.

I liked byron scott fwiw. he brought the hornets up to a new level (i guess it was easy with chris paul) but he really has brought a team up to a contender wherever he has been. isnt the best but still pretty good.

The FO had issues with B Scott and thats all it took. They really got tired of seeing good players ride the pine and older getting all the time.
