Well, he did lose to 10 unranked teams (to football juggernauts like NC State and Boston College) in 6 seasons at FSU if you take out the Jameis years.
That's hardly worth $8M+ per year.

It took one of the best CFB teams ever to beat Saban for O. Jimbo did it with a backup QB and freshman on the OL
