shite happens at every program. uva actually had more convictions than any acc school but you don't hear any of that on espn.

PS. IMO the complete lack of regard for any form of life is much worse than making some money. I won't even begin to argue that.

See...that is the problem. I do not want to argue with you...but the "everybody does it" argument is just not true.
Yes...you will have some issues now and then....but when your program is having 2 or 3 (or more) players get arrested for something every year...that is an issue.
Heck...UGA had 11 (ELEVEN!!!!) arrest in 2008 alone...and they have 2 weeks left to go! I think that same lack of discipline off the field shows up on the field.
There are definitely programs where the coaches and administrators have control of their programs and rule the roost...and there are those where the players rule the roost (i.e. FSU)
