Brian Kelly is a brand name coach in college football. Recruiting is about to blow up.

Kelly recruits nationally at Notre Dame, and he will assemble an elite staff in Baton Rouge.
54-9 since 2017. NY6 bowl games, playoff games, title game appearances, etc.
Josh Pate said it a few minutes ago - he's been trying to compete in the Daytona 500 with a Prius. Give him LSU's resources and watch what happens.

This is an incredible hire on many levels. Woodward delivered on his promise.
In time, I believe most will come to understand this.

And losing them all.

Yep. Academic standards are much higher at Notre Dame as well. Should be much less restrictive for him from a recruiting perspective at LSU.

People don't understand the limitations he has at Notre Dame as far as recruiting infrastructure, staff salaries, etc.
And yet he's still 54-9 over the last 4 years and pulling in top 10 classes. He will do very well here.
