People bitch about Kelly, but I've said from the get-go on this board, he's an ideal candidate.
National championships in D-II, a MAC championship, making Cincy relevant in football, getting ND to a national championship and a couple CFPs. He just fricking wins. Anybody who believes he should have accomplished more in South Bend needs their head examined.
He might not be exciting, but give him a fertile recruiting base without academic restrictions. He could win big.

Former Texans season ticket owner here…OBrien would not fit the culture at LSU, his arrogance is out of this world and he’s falling on his face in tuscaloosa. I imagine he would love the LSU job

Well, I don't know much about the O'Brien guy or his history in the pros..but while watching the bama game over here yesterday..as an OC, much better than what we currently have.

I just read that someone in the know at Alabama says that Obrien will be the next LSU coach.
I will never forgive LSU if they make another imbecilic head coaching hire with the name of Bill Obrien. That would be insanity and ruin Woodwards reputation forever. The only reason Ala has a high powered offense is because they have the best QB in the country and probably the best receiving group in the country. Put him with LSU personnel presently, and LSU doesn't beat anyone. Please let this not be true....anyone, even a woke hire, over him....well maybe not a woke hire. That would be long term disaster because you can't fire a woke hire.
