This guy is either gold or a toad(at times). His inconsistency showed at LSU in certain games with his defense. I wonder what the deal is. Seems strange to me.

It's sort of hard to get your team up to play Washington in the crummy bowl after you were just in the BIG 12 championship.
Oh and how are you supposed to get your guys fired up to play a team you demolished earlier in the season?

He is a very emotional guy. That is the kind of performances you can expect from a coach like him. Either sky high or below expectations.

This is the nature of college football today. I know Les had a good year at LSU (despite finishing 3rd in a 6 team division), but after winning 2 out of 3 SEC West Titles his first 3 years Les has won no Titles in 3 years. College football is full of parity right now. It's hard to stay on top. It's just very competitive.

Two words: Shawn Watson. In all their losses this year, the offense either never showed up or didn't do anything for a lengthy stretch of the game.
