If Mccartney wants the team turned around so bad why doesn't he get his old hiney out there and do it. He has a title and turned colorado into a power when he was there..

ESPN is reporting that Michigan wanted Miles to go through the process and weren't ready to outright offer him the job.

That's like me saying the only reason I haven't received a blowjob from Salma Hayek is because I haven't offered it to her.

I think Hoke is a great hire for you guys. I think other than Miles he will build the program back to Ohio State level. You don't need some other high profile guy. He's young and energetic and has to be on cloud 9 with that new job. Your program needs a shot of energy. More important I hope your administration knows this is going to take time. You are in a lot worse shape now than you were before RR took the job.

Since Hoke obviously went through this "process."

McCartney played at Missouri and won a NC at Colorado.... Miles was born in Ohio, but at least he played at Michigan

Mccartney was trying to push Miles to go to Michigan and build the program back up. Said he was disappointed Miles didn't take the "premier job in all of sports".

I took it as coming from a "Michigan Man" wanting to see Michigan get built back up. I'm sure Miles feels that way, too. Just not enough to be the coach thee.

Nothing to see here, move along.

this still bugs the hell outta me. if it meant so damn much to be a michigan man then maybe the actual university of michigan could have invited TC to play there? Must have been hard for Bill to see TC slumming it in baton rouge.

Bill McCartney should be the one of the biggest damn LSU fans there is along with colorado and michigan. he at least could have qualified his comments with some praise for LSU.
